OVERVIEW
Steppy is a startup company running an online publication dedicated to streetwear fashion news and background stories on WeChat. They needed a showroom space on the first floor in their new office. Besides being a background stage for their live online broadcasting, it needs to be transformed into a product showroom. This is one of the design concepts provided to the client. This was my first experimental project in interior design.

CONCEPT
EXPLORATION
Steppy had been using design visuals associate with astronauts in their branding. The publication is dedicated to pioneering in streetwear fashion like the astronauts in space exploration.
During the brainstorming session with the client, we agreed on the name of this area to be "the Space." We explored various visual languages of the space theme. The spaceship is one of them. The visual of a spaceship hallway leads to the unknown is captivating, which echoes with Steppy being the channel transporting the reader to the world of streetwear fashion.
INTERIOR
CONCEPT
We utilize a transformable display shelf system, LED strip lighting with diffuser in repetition, and keep the colors in black and white to mimic the visual language of the spaceship hallway.
